DailyPay is a global FinTech company that grants employees partial access to their earned paycheck instead of waiting two weeks for their next check.
In my early years at DailyPay, I began as a Junior Graphic Designer.
I joined when they underwent a rebrand, and I updated all the marketing collateral to reflect the new brand look. These included sales one pagers, posters, case studies, and digital assets.
CHALLENGE
The challenge was to build a trustworthy and brand-raising awareness through modern and clean visuals. Our job was to connect a rebranded app experience to the audience
APPROACH
The approach focuses on implementing motion and fun through video and animations that would be advertised on social media, YouTube, app stores, and trade shows.
RESULTS
The rebrand launch resulted in a boost in social media engagement and a premium app store experience. The animations made it simple for users to follow and maneuver.
App Store video
I had the opportunity to provide a premium experience for users when they downloaded the app from the app store. It started from a series of 2D illustrations, which I then crafted into a fun animated video that plays automatically on the app store page. The video consisted of visuals of the benefits of the app and its functions.

DailyPay Debit Card Launch Video
The DP Card launch was one of my favorite projects I worked on while working at DailyPay. After the rebrand, DailyPay launched a new debit card for its users, and I was responsible for crafting a dynamic 2D animation that showcases the card details. The smooth motion
and transitions represent the fluidity of the app itself.

Agency Collaboration
After a few years, I was promoted to Multimedia Designer, which meant I took on more responsibilities that included motion graphics and video editing. I brainstormed with the studio team on ideas on how we can incorporate illustrations and app animations in multiple videos that we would use for digital marketing material.
